My Perfect Childhood Doll

As a child I was a tomboy but I loved my dolls. Susannah (I thought it was a very exotic name at the time I named her) was my best doll. I still have her and the miniature vinyl records that lived in her back and made her sing and laugh. The smell of her plastic hair and skin was comforting. These illustrations capture the perfectness of Susannah and my endless fascination in her. I thought she was perfect!
